I have a delicious recipe for you! Today is Turkey Chili Day in my house, my husband and children weren\u2019t fans of chili, until this recipe landed it\u2019s self on our table. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"671\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cookingwithcristy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Turkey.png?resize=800%2C671\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-131\" loading=\"lazy\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cookingwithcristy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Turkey.png?w=940 940w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cookingwithcristy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Turkey.png?resize=300%2C251 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cookingwithcristy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Turkey.png?resize=768%2C644 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cookingwithcristy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Turkey.png?resize=72%2C60 72w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color:#4d1ca0\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Turkey Chili<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2 teaspoons of olive oil <\/li><li>1 medium red onion, chopped <\/li><li>1 medium green bell pepper, chopped<\/li><li>1 medium red bell pepper, chopped<\/li><li>4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped ( I use a garlic press) or you can use 4 teaspoons of minced jarred garlic.<\/li><li>1.5 lbs. of lean ground turkey<\/li><li>3 ( 15 oz) cans of kidney beans, drained and rinsed. <\/li><li>1 ( 28 oz) can of petite diced tomatoes, no salt added<\/li><li>1 1\/2 cup red wine<\/li><li>1 Tablespoon of ground chili powder<\/li><li>1 teaspoon of sea salt<\/li><li>1\/4 teaspoon of cumin<\/li><li>1\/4 teaspoon pepper<\/li><li>1\/4 Bell Pepper Rub ( Pampered Chef Pantry Product, if you don\u2019t have, Mrs. Dash works too) <\/li><li>feta cheese or fresh shredded cheddar cheese<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Steps:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Heat 1\/2 oil in large saucepan over medium heat. ( I uses my Rock Crock Dutch Oven) <\/li><li>Add ground turkey, the key to getting ground turkey full of flavoring is seasoning it now while still raw and in the pan. Season with 1\/2 teaspoon of sea salt, pepper, cumin, Bell Pepper Rub\/Mrs. Dash and a dash of chili powder. Brown until done, being sure to crumble the meat as it cooks, I use my Mix-n-Chop from Pampered Chef.
